Shooters Party 2009

Every year we have a shooters party, where we get all our friends together and run some practice IDPA, shot range, long range, and demolition shooting. We use vehicles, appliances, tannerite, paintcans, flammable items, and general all around awesomeness which includes mobile homes, ballistics gel, and a massive pole barn to end the night with good clean fun.

Dummy caught on fire!

Jeff bought 2 cars for 150 bucks that both ran. A lincoln and cougar. Bill wanted to demo the mobile home with the lincoln. It definitely won.

I tried to get it to go back in time...

Even ripped apart by bullets, the battery still worked.

Demolition derby/drifting/pond submerging lincoln

Tow Rig for pulling them out of the pond.

Started the fire with some tannerite, flare, and something else.

Festivities in the pole barn... Awesome food, games, etc.

I'm with Chefcook here. I'm in the area and I didn't know this kind of fun was happening right under my nose. Poor advertising on your part my friend, poor indeed.

...On a side note, it looks like it was a blast. Wish I had some land to cause mayhem on like this!

This happened up around Granger, IN just over the state line in MI off 12!


Will have to let you guys know for next year. I didn't host it, my friend does. They've always just kept it close friends and what not. Maybe we'll expand for next year, I'll definitely talk to him about it.

Is it bad that this was actually my first thought?

I know that its one of those funky Olympic AR pistols that isn't gas-operated, but I don't get why the forward assist wouldn't be normal.
