Yukon it sounds to me like things are looking up for you. She must be a really good gal too.
I used to drink a lot years ago but I guess I just grew out of it. It caused me a lot of trouble. I'd say that you're finding out more and more all the time that you aint missing anything by not drinking. Things just go better when you don't drink and everyone is happy. You're not really happy when you drink all the time, you're just drunk.

PS it sounds to me like you two had one of those perfectly legal FTF firearm transfers that everyone is always talking about on here.

Got the 10/22 out and "made" the girlfriend shoot it too. We both loved it. I'm thinking I better get her one too. She has been shooting with me before but has never been as excited as she was today.

They are by far, the best 22lr you can find for the cost. Definately sounds like it's your turn to pick one up for your lady. The laminated pink stock ones are pretty cool, and don't run much more than the standard model.
