I thought this was a really cool web site about an showing an expedition that was undertaken to discover and recover artifacts from the battle where Sgt. York was awarded his Medal Of Honor for his actions that day.
They found the spot where he used his 1911 to kill 8 Germans attacking him in a bayonet charge. (I can't imagine living through that, WOW, things like this continue to humble me thinking about the past and present members of the US Armed Forces and what the have to endure for us to live free)
