This "threat" is annual. It just happened to get a larger audience with social media. A similar claim was out there the year before covid. It was a non-issue and got little notice because we were out of school on winter break at the time.

Unfortunately, in today's age, everything has to be addressed. Each school up here has SROs in buildings already. But, each corporation has added extra patrols and officer presence today.

Logistically, targeting every building out there would take an enormous amount of planning, resources, and coordinating.
