S&W shiled ambi mag release?

I bought the wife a shield for Xmas and disregarded the fact she is a south paw. I was hoping the mag release was ambi since there are cut outs on both sides of the mag for retaining it. When I went to flip the mag release...no dice. Anyone know if they make a left-handed mag release I can drop in for a shield? Seems like they should but I'm having trouble finding one.

I haven't found one yet, but as a lefty it is almost as easy/easier to drop a mag with your middle finger.

I'm right handed, but shooting support hand, I've found this to be very easy.

Yep, sometimes I give mine the middle finger as well... I mean drop the mag with the middle finger.
