Ruger m77

Bought a Ruger m77 30.06 caliber made in 1980 in near perfect condition for $435.00. It has the rifle sights which I heard is kind of rare. Do you think I did ok?

Sounds like a great buy to me...I have a m77 22-250 that has been in the famly for nearly 30 years and have never had an issue with it.

That's a fair price. I've had several M77 MKII's and all have been great rifles aside from the trigger. $80ish for a Timmney and you're all set. I've never shot a tang safety model, but have heard they have better triggers than MKII's.

30 06 ammo has went through the roof since i sold my m-1 garand 12 years ago...jeez
