Really, announce that on the weekend, especially with the Olympics ending? I would expect that to come next week with the Olympic news void.

Ryan would be an okay choice for him.

FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY I can get excited about the Romney campaign! :rockwoot:

The selection of Ryan sends an unmistakable message to people like me, who pay more in taxes than most people earn, that Romney is serious about our unsustainable debt and slide into socialism.

The best CEO's either know the numbers forward and backward or have the guy who does very close at hand. This pick confirms Romney knows what he is doing.

Can't wait until Election Day to fire the poser! :ar15:

Since he hasn't released the name for a few hours, I am going to picture the worst possible combination. Romney/ McCain!!!!!

I kind of wish Romney would have left Paul Ryan where he is now as House Budget Committee Chairman. As a conservative budget cutter we need him there instead being wasted as the VP.

You could look at it that way, but you could also acknowledge that he's only a breath away from the oval office.

I'm not. There are some positives but they are greatly outweighed by the negatives.
Did you not notice the big picture of Eor? Was purple really needed? Man, my sarcasm really is subtle, isn't it?

I was hoping for another veep pic, but I suppose we'll find out for sure tomorrow. Oh well, at least we can hope to get rid of Barry in November.

Not awake enough yet for internet sarcasm. Too subtle for this time of morning and the fact that I've seen people on Facebook talking about how inspirational the pick was.

    I'm scanning that web site....

From what I'm reading, I'd say the positives greatly outweigh the negatives. Subject to additional research, but I'd say he'd make a damned sight better president than BHO and probably Romney.
