Many shooters who have been in the sport for 10 years or longer and who went threw the shortages during past elections have stocked up. I know that this isn't a possibility for everyone, sometimes things like rent/mortgage payments and groceries come first, but I learned my lesson during the Obama years. I have a good stock of .22 LR, which is what I have primarily shot for 6 or 7 years, but I did get caught short on 9mm. I purchased a 9mm carbine last fall to shoot this year. Now while I started stocking up when I purchased it, I didn't stock up at the volume I should have. Just means I don't practice as much as I would like to with that gun. That being said, shooting carbine is very similar to the way I shoot my .22 rifle at these matches, so it pretty much carries threw.

I have plenty of .22 and an "okay" supply of 9 mm. But I am being conservative when I go to the range. I try to keep it to about 50 rounds right now, 100 when I just can't stop, lol. That's for 9 MM. I switch to .22 and usually shoot another 100 rounds or so before going home.

I'd like to shoot more, but until I see an end in sight, I will keep round counts low since I do go to the range 1X a week now.

Depending on how this all shakes out in the future, I may be hanging up my firearms and taking up the guitar!:)

How much must I spend to get a decent guitar? When I'm not in my busy work season (Jan to Aprl) I go to the range 2 to 4 times a week. I will go thru at least 200 to 500 rounds of .22 each time. I so enjoy my trips to our range, I feel it's an EXCELLENT facility and lot's of great people. Best $100 I spend each year. I really need a guitar & lessons....LOL!!!
