I ordered a 80% lower in their Wolfpack Bronze. Before i started to finish it I noted two spots where the cerakote was flaking off. I called them and they sent a return label, but I'm being charged a 20% restocking fee on the refund. Needless to say I will never use them again.
Exactly, this makes absolutely no sense? You buy a partially finished item that needs milling, but the exterior finish has already been applied? Sounds like an internet complaint waiting to happen? OTOH, the company shouldn’t charge a restock on a defective item, even if they were morons for offering it for sale. Why order an 80% lower that needs finishing (and might get marred during the finishing process)?
You might want to consider a "raw" 80% lower and have it Cerekoted after it is finished?
