I have recently picked up a 597 .22LR that has a Simmons 3–9x 32 scope. I am putting together a wish list and wanted to know what input you may have for a future upgrade. I am new to scoped rifles and have no knowledge or preferences on them. Thanks in advance.

i would need some more info.

what is the minimum and maximum range you intend to shoot the scope at?

how do you intend to adjust for longer range shots (depending on how far you intend to shoot)

what price range are you thinking

50-100 yards right now. The rest like i said i am noob on.
