Last night my grandson received a refitted gift. My nephew( 17) gave my grandson the Rossi 20 ga.22 combo I had given him 11 years ago. It was used by my son before that. I choked up and wanted to have an adult beverage with the lad. Gave him a firm handshake and a hug instead. Grandson is only 2 1/2 so it will be a few.

Keep the tradition going. Hand me down firearms are the best! Just to think of the stories they could tell. I know I have a couple that will always stay in the family.

After my father passed away my Brother was supposed to get Pops 1187 shotgun.

My Stepmom wouldn't let my brother have it. This went on for several years and the hurt continued to fester.
last year my brothers boy called my stepmom to see if she would give him the gun. She agreed to give him the gun.

My nephew presented his Dad the 1187 for Christmas. My brother cried like a baby upon receiving it.

Keeping firearm in the family is important to me.
