Had to buy a new refrigerator today as my old one quit this morning. Bought a new Frigidaire at Lowe's. My old one was a Sears Coldspot made by Whirlpool.
My Grand mother bought it in 1969, it's been a good one.
I highly doubt the new one will last 47 years like the old one did.

My aunt still has my grandparents' old frigidaire by General Motors in her basement, with the death latch locking handle. Still kicking.

Mom and Dad had an old GE (death latch and no shelves in the door) in the garage. I remember it being there in the 70s, it still ran into the 2000s.

Like this one? This to was my grandmothers. I have no idea how old it is or how many beers it's chilled. I painted it about 10 years ago.
