On my way to work this afternoon I seen human profiles on the side of the road. It was not people but coats and scarfs on poles along the roadway. Odd, This was on S West st. by omni-source.

After I clock in and see what I will do today, I figured I'd check out these coats on poles.

It is a nice corduroy jacket, with a note attached. The note read something close to " I am not lost, if you are cold, put me on and be warmer."

There was coats left when i finished my shift around 2300.

Maybe not real efficient, but it is pretty cool.

When it is cold I try to help the homeless with hats , gloves , water and food.

It is happening across the country. People who knit and crochet also make neckscarves, hats, gloves, etc. and tie them on trees and poles for people to take with similar notes. I've been reading about it on some of the crochet pages I follow on Facebook.
