I saw a link to this elsewhere and thought so it's now against the law to collect weapons and ammo. Precrime anyone? What laws were broken? Were they to prepared?

Let's see. Manufacturing explosives without a license providing a felon with firearms and straw purchases for beginners.

And a conspiracy charge since they allegedly planned to use those illegal explosives against LEO/military in the event of martial law. Very deceptive title.

Agreed...which I mentioned in the other thread. It was a hack job on reporting that made it sound like folks were being arrested for things that weren't illegal even if the reporter wanted it to sound that way.

Your other thread didn't generate much discussion, because the premise is flawed. They weren't arrested for prepping.

Yeah, prepping won't be seen as illegal or immoral until or unless things get bad and folks start starving to death.

When or if that time ever comes, preppers will be seen as "hoarders" and will be vilified for not sharing what they've got, or worse yet if preppers try to get more when they're already sitting on what they've got.

If things ever get as bad as what preppers prep for, most preppers will be very sorry that they didn't put more thought into prepping in a more stealthy way.

Well, there's always that. It's great to share information until it's bad that the information is out there.

Weimar Germany required gun registration, the NAZIs used those registrations to disarm their political enemies.
