Flat the receiver a bit like an AMT Lightning.
Use tapered bbl as muzzle extension over machined down 5.5" bull bbl (bore extension to 30 cal or so).
Remove bolt ears, stirrup attach to bolt with fwd ears having cocking knobs (aluminum).

Could go with fake knobs, attached at old rear sight location........but functional is better.
    Tangent sight even more cool.

    Off to find a beater 5.5" MK1

Oh yeah, it'd get a brown Kydex/leather arm brace in the shape of the old buttstock. Proly need mod of MSH or grips.....another side project.

A buddy at work is letting me borrow his Bisley hunter. Maybe the different shape will help me hold on. Thanks for the replies.

Nice project. If you do decide to do it, best of luck. Looks like a modern version of the original, which was a pretty special pistol way back when.
