    I'm hoping to piggy back on this thread -- I have a similar situation.

    I live in Greencastle. I have two uppers I need pinned and welded. I have had uppers worked on at Elmore's before, but I don't live near Greenwood any longer.

    Who is my best choice in this part of the state?

    While we're on the topic, anybody know a good smith and/or welder in the Columbus area? I want to get an AAC Brakeout permanently attached which may have to be welded around the circumference rather than pinned due to the design of the aac

    Not so. There's enough room at the ass end to pin it. If you're worried it's too thin, then drill it on one of the wrench flats.
