Just got back from our 3rd trip to Montana/Yellowstone NP:

Hummingbird feeder outside of home. Two of them are fighting over it hard core. There's also a small bee that gets on the feeder tip and fights with the hummingbird trying to feed from it.

Also todays mushroom finds in the woods. And no I'm not eating the puffer.

South Africa was a lot more mountainous than I expected. This was near Alicedale, on the East Cape.




This was a shot of the area I hunted nearby. Reminded me a lot of Wyoming or Colorado.

Out feeding the horses looking out the barn the moon the other morning

I was walking out to the garden late a few nights ago to shut off a soaker hose. Luckily for me, I had a flashlight and caught sight of this before walking face first into it. You have to admire the intricacy of spider webs and the work that gets put into them. It was anchored to the grass, a yard bench and a tree branch 7 feet up.

3d/2n kayak trip into backwaters. Camped just past the old Browning bridge. Tons of egrets, bald eagles, and some deer running through the shallows. Great weekend.
