MichiganCity Rifle Club, Michigan City, IN will host a eight (8) hourlong NRA Personal Protection Inside The Home Course on Saturday 19 March 2016. The class will begin at 8:30 AM. The course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense.
Each student will receive a NRA Personal Protection Inside The Home Student Packet which includes: NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection Inside The Home Handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules Brochure, NRA Basic Firearm Training Brochure, NRA Personal Protection InsideThe Home Course Completion Certificate. Fee for the class is $150.00. Each student must provide their own firearm and 150 rounds of ammunition. Fee includes light refreshments and lunch.
Class size is limited and pre-registration with deposit is required. Michigan City Rifle Club is a non-profit 501(c)(7)organization. The purpose of this organization is to encourage organized rifle, pistol, and other forms of shooting competition among citizens of the UnitedStates, and to further a more complete knowledge of safe handling and propercare of firearms, as well as to improve marksmanship.
