Parasitic fungus hijacks host organism's body and turns it into zombie

A fungus has been confirmed to have been hijacking ants' bodies to be used as a vehicle to feed and spread fungal spores. The fungus latches onto ants' bodies, and chemically controls their behavior to force the ant to go to certain plants, where the fungus will kill the ant and then hatch spores out of its brain. Scientists have determined evidence of this as far back as 48 Million years.

Damn nature you scary.

I didn't watch any Karate Kid past the 2nd one and when I heard about the Smith kid in one I had to laugh. It will be interesting to watch how messed up the kids are in the future though.
