Can anyone recommend a good place/trail to do a overnight backpacking trek here in the Hoosier state? I'm located in Indy so of course I'd be up for some travel time. I'm thinking Hoosier National Forest? Any other areas? I'm looking for some info from some people with firsthand experience.

Twin lakes trail at Indian and celina lakes is my favorite over night trail.
Its a loop that is well marked not too rugged and loops around the two lakes. Its a easy one day hike but I like to split it up and camp at the mid way point by the lake.
Its located in Perry county just 3 miles off of interstate 64

Perry County: Twin lakes, German Ridge, Mogan Ridge all have nice overnight hiking spots. There is also the Adventure trail south of leavenworth in Crawford County. Adventure trail has some nice vistas overlooking the Ohio into Kentucky.
