I have a over and under 410 , and the lever that opens the barrels stays to one side, instead of in the middle like it use to , anyone know a local Indy area gunsmith who can fix this for me ?

This is typically caused by one of two things. Wear of the locking lugs over time will move the lever off center. Second, the screw that attaches the lever to the internal cam that rotates to open the action can come loose.

Many O/U's start out with the lever right of center and after lots of use will eventually wear and the lever will get more centered. Unfortunately I can't make any recommendations but would recommend calling Indiana Gun club, I'm sure they will know a good gunsmith

Many of the club guns that have had lots of use will rest off center. I take it that is does effect function?
is that a savage 2410? Try opening it the other way for a while. Sold an old browning O/U to my cousin and it was off center. He is a lefty and it now is canted the other way a small amount.
