    He is lucky to only have to get a few stitches and maybe a cracked jawbone or some teeth missing. Could have been way way worse. I wait at least 30 seconds if a FTF occurs. Lucky man he is for sure!

    ok, so now this begs the question for those of us (ie me) who have never had this issue...... what is proper procedure?

    One guy on that thread said to duck and wait 30 seconds? the 30 seconds I can agree with, maybe a minute, but do you want to let go of the rifle???? I mean shouldnt you retain control over the rifle during this time????????
