    Not far from the tree
Taking a break from beating back the burning bushes out front.
We have four, five if I count the one just around the corner. All are chin height on me.

I have two more out back that I will kill and be rid of.
I have nothing against burning bushes and for about two weeks they look good in fall.
Rest of the time they are boring burglar hidey places, not much more.
Also classified as an Indiana invasive.

This could make work challenging, but we'll work it out. She finally learned her "work spot" on the desk when I was working inside. :): Still beats being in my cube at the office.

I've got a few irises blooming but this one was from a start from my grandma's house.

Those are like the ones my wife tells me we HAVE to have. I am so energized to see her taking an interst in the garden.

She was always happy with our garden when she saw me all dirty with a big smile. Benefits were expected.

Now she is taking part, making decisions, digging around and helping some.

I am now the one who is happy from seeing a dirty smile on my treasured partner's face.
I will find that iris variety for her!

I haven't decided if I'm going to dig up a little spot to plant some jalapenos and habaneros. I'm starting to run low on my supply of dried crushed peppers. I don't know if it would be worth it, or if I should just buy some at the grocery and dry them.
I would buy the dried, but I would never not grow some fresh!

I live in a HOA managed berg and we are restricted from growing "produce" on our property.

Some pot growing learning and I have my produce right here, if you know what I mean.

The Mrs. seen a post on FB, so I visited YT and got lost.
Another incredible cover band. If you're interested, look up solabros.com.
    They cover all genres.
Can't do it. I'm banned from FB.
I made a "my view" comment once that was considered "untoward" and apparently, that's it.

I love new bands coming along, though!

    I did not know that!

I do know that you have to spic 'n span every trimming effort or the flipping cut off things will grow again from almost every clipping.

I also know they are the same genus as a very prodigious, bird spread climbing variety.

I don't care for any of them!

Susan was always my gardening partner, and now that she's not physically able to do so it really bugs her. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss her help out there. She was a hard worker!

I think my nextdoor neighbors must be having a get-together tomorrow. He's out mowing the area where they usually set up their volleyball court, and he just mowed yesterday or the day before.

    Boston fans?

    Killer!
They sound good. Always been Boston fan.

I have stories, in fact I have a book I can't publish with lots of stories.

If I was to fully honor my C&D orders, I might just have overstepped. I have another book, too. Seems no one wants me to write about the music scene in the '80s, except Mom. Mom says my books are pretty good. :):

These guys rock and do a bang up job of some touchy, difficult music. They sound like Boston, almost.
