Chip brought a mouse into the house last night right before I went to bed. Dumb cat...came in and let it loose. I chased it around for 45 minutes until I lost it...couldn't catch it and couldn't get a good stomp on it to kill it. She is back inside now and is looking all over for it...she's got a good memory apparently. I told her it is her job to find it and finish the job. We do not allow mice in this house. I left a note for hubby to set some traps since I think he has all of them in the garage.
Renters (grandkids) had a red piney in the house last week. Bet that was entertaining .

I planted four garlic bulbs during a brief stay from the wet falling.

Can't "grow produce" in our little HOA monitored berg. But if there is a crossover between ornamental and produce, I'll find it.

I pulled about half the outer cloves to make a baby ring around the center with the mommy bulb holding all the rest of the cloves still attached.

Garlic is a two year endeavor with beautiful puffy flowers first year. Greens available almost all year long, even some winters.
Another reason to shun HOA's for the woods. Ef those people.
