i stopped at the bakery to get a couple of paczkis. they had zeppoles so i had to get one of those... now i feel sleepy.

the king is lucky to be alive. caught him up on the counter yesterday trying to eat my food

a lot of them are basically just filled doughnuts, raspberry, blueberry, bavarian creme, etc.
the dough is a little different, more butter and eggs in the batter than normal. one of the old time fillings was prune.

We lost one of our beloved Beagles just over two years ago, and I've been wanting to make him a proper urn, instead of the tin can he came home in.
Life has been hectic since his passing, and I kept putting it on the back burner, trying to come up with a design.
Something popped in my head today, so when I got home, I began drafting it.
I could have purchased one, but I wanted to add a personal touch. I have Walnut and Maple, that will be part of it, and as soon as it's warm enough, I'll get it started.
I already engraved the brass plate for it about a month or so after we got him back home. I might have a pic somewhere.
I'm excited to get this finished (finally), so he can be placed in his final resting place. He will be placed on the hutch, next to our other Beagle.
