    Mij, Nicely done on that bolt kit. I did the same kit a long time ago.

    Thank you. I also did mine a long time ago. So long in fact I forgot I did it. (The mount n rings). I was asking DD how to put a scope mount on a Mosin. I remember doing the bolt and putting the aftermarket stock on it and bedding the action, just didn’t remember the mount n rings. Now I have to find me a good scope that will take a pounding. Guessing I took off about 3 lbs. It’s gonna be a thumper.

    Welp, good morning again to all I missed this morning. Just got back from a coyote run, saw a lot of wild life this morning. Saw two mink, bout 20 miles apart. 1 at one of my carcass piles another along a fence line where a farmer raises egg makers outdoors. I’m thinking of making a small mink line. Nothing like my coyote line just a dozen or so mink sets. Useing coni’s. Check‘em from the road while driving between carcass piles.

    Sure is warmer than yesterday, and this is good coffee.
