    That caught your attention, didn't it? But, it's true. He did. Fortunately, this was back in 1960, or so. David Codrea has a link to the "latest" of Guns Magazines back issues from 1960. They've got a great library of issues available, free. I love looking back at what they were discussing back then. Sadly, things haven't changed all that much in some regards. They had lots of anti-gun politicians then, too. So, here's something cool to read on a snowy Indiana day!

    Yes, so did the President of the United States (LBJ) a few years later. Heck, then Senator JFK was a supporter of stopping military surplus firearms (on behalf of Smith & Wesson).

    The anti-gun milieu was the reason why the NRA was proposing alternatives throughout the '60s which became transmogrified into "supporting" gun control.:rolleyes:
