Yeah, those Russian videos are crazy. I am sure our cars are safer for the most part. Same for our drivers.

Daughter arrived and dinner has been consumed. Her bf had one call earlier...Amish family traveling in a van that they hired to get them to visit family near Napanee wiped out on 30. Flipped the trailer that was being pulled and threw them into the median. Much food was lost. No humans were harmed.

Saw weather and had kids over for Christmas Friday. Will visit some family via. country road tomorrow. Just a town away. Stay safe.

We travel tomorrow, Indy to Valpo and back via I-65... Roads should be OK by then, but still considering putting on the winter wheels and tires for the trip.

haven't had any problems, of course I haven't even ventured out to snow blow the driveway yet, sure as hell aint driving anywhere!

This is my first winter ever with an AWD police car. I still drive cautiously, but at least I'm not just spinning my wheels like I did in the CVPI. No major wrecks on my district so far tonight. The main roads are ok, side streets are covered with ice.

Had a fatality crash I worked yesterday morning before the roads even got slick. I believe it was “distracted driving” related.

So the weather in Portage changed pretty drastically Sunday afternoon. We left Portage around 3:30, is was really slow going getting to Crown Point. Fortunately everyone was driving sane/cautiously. Lot less snow in Lake county too.

65 was shut down for quite a while yesterday around Rensselaer due to wrecks.
