Dang.
Went outside to pick up sticks for 15 minutes or so....


Well that took longer than I thought.
repeter and I cleared the leaves and branches off the back porch. Trimmed broken branches hanging on above the porch.
picked up big branches from the back yard, so I can run the leaf vacuum over it tomorrow.
Cleaned out the gutters.
And finished modifying 4 new blow mold pumpkins for the display.

After I finish my break catching up on INGO, maybe I'll go out to the garage and finish face #3 for the display.


My mower trailer took 3 or 4 loads of branches out into the woods.
A bit more than anticipated.

I'd say al least 50% of the leaves are off my trees. Blades did their magic and ready for the rain to soak the fertilizer down to establish the roots of all the new grass.

My front yard clear, and so is the trees. The wind just blows them away.
The back yard though, ugh. I probably only have 10 percent of the leaves down right now.

This weather when you open your windows you need neither heat nor ac, especially with the breeze. Maybe if you didn't live amongst the Raccoons and thugs you could leave those windows open

I took my hoodie outside, cause it was cold only a bit ago.
But, then the hoodie got hung up on the railing. Man was it warm.


Also, up on the roof and ladder... I might need to start exercising.

Morning all. Heading home today. Been camping near LaGrange since Friday. Probably the best camping weather we had all year. Good way to end the season!

Great weekend with the grandson and kids. Finished their move into a new house up in Madison, Wisconsin. Land of fruits and nuts, but the new house is much better than the rental they were in.

I'm tired though. Moving, I remember now, is hard.

The inflatable ghost took a hard hit from the wind last night. Found him against the garage side.

Busy day. Errands, buying guns from @d.kaufman , household tasks, and finishing with the canoemobile with the kid's Scout Troop.

Lesson learned: Don't trust f'ing AutoZone's or Sylvania's websites to tell you what size headlights you have. Take the 5 minutes to walk back out to the vehicle and check the manual. Both said 9003s for the 2021 Taco but it actually H9s and H11s(separate high and low)
