Not sure how you figure that. I drive from my house to downtown in about 1:15. It takes the train an hour to get from Gary to Millennium Station. Gary is about half way to Chicago from my house.

Hegewisch to mill train ride is 30 mins.

If I drive from say calumet city to millenium at that time it'll take probably an hour
