INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A New Palestine man told airport police officers he forgot his gun was in his bag after TSA security officials discovered the weapon in the man’s carry on Thursday.
Authorities say 46-year-old Timothy Chocklett was arrested and charged with entering a controlled area of an airport with a weapon.
Airport officials say Chocklett had a permit for the .38 caliber Smith and Wesson.

Sounds like my neighbor. He was deer hunting behind the house and lost a NEA 12 gauge. I found it and turned it in to the police. 30 days later it was mine. Then one day he told me he lost it,It was already transfered to me,so I kept it. I dont see how you do something like that myself, but it has happened to someone I know. Shame it wasnt a better gun.
