I’m not sure how to feel about this one. It certainly sounds like gross negligence on the gun owners side. As gun owners, we need to be more responsible than this.

What happened to those 3 safeties that Glock Fan Boys keep bragging about? :dunno:

Oh that's right, they are all bypassed by a finger, or a paw, or a stick, or a set of keys, or a tampon, or....anything in the trigger guard.
But if you drop it off a building - "Glocks have 3 Safeties". :n00b:

im NOT a glock :puke: fan dislike them but you cant blame the glock on this. if it was another sidearm it would have been the same result. non gun users have a strong tendicy of pulling the trigger asap. its movie ingrained.

I agree but the crime STARTS and STOPS with the criminal who stole it and the criminal who used it. The civil case was another example of a money grab from the person most likely to have the ability to pay. I hate these types of civil BS cases.

it is similar to you having your living room blinds open so that anyone can see your living room and that 90" flatscreen.
next thing you know someone is going into your crib and taking your flatscreen.

what if they use it to beat the clerk ti death at the 7-11 for the cash in the register.

should you be repsonsible for that civil suit?
the tv like the gun is just a thing.

It's not my responsibility to prevent you from stealing, it's your responsibility not to steal.

I agree stealing the gun was the crime. I myself don't leave my guns out for safety reasons, but also I don't trust people and wouldn't want to lose any. I wonder if he could have been entering school or other gun restricted area and left gun out
