Has anyone handled a North American Arms Ranger ?
I was just wondering if any local shops around Indy might have one I can check out, I don't want to buy from gun broker if a local shop has one in stock.

I have one that I purchased on gunbroker. I like it but it is not flawless. If you try lining up the safety notch while closing it it won't cycle properly. However if I close it on a chamber it will cycle fine and then it can be lined up with the safety notch. I haven't had a chance to fire it yet to make sure that it doesn't suffer from light primer strikes. I know there have also been issues with them shooting high, as in at least a foot high at a few yards. My understanding is that the factory has most if not all the issues worked out with the cycling issues and will have new front sights within a couple of weeks. When I was in Bradis guns last weekend they had one in stock, however the cylinder was locked up. I didn't mess with to see if it would cycle if opened and then closed on a chamber.
