Good for the Koreans. It's not likely to change anything, but those particular pirates are out of commission.

The Russians did a better job with their take down haha......... hostages freed and no pirates were their after they left....... they were all found dead in a boat adrift a few days or so later (shot if I remember right)......... now THAT'S how you send a message.


Apparently some pirates tried to get to a US NAVY ship think it was a freighter and it was never seen or hear from again last I read.

Found some footage of the ROK attack on the pirates. The pirates are now saying that from now on they'll kill Koreans on sight and burn their ships. Guess we'll have to wait and see how things turn out in the future.

The ROK Marines were badass 30+ years ago when I worked with them; I can't imagine how badass they might be by now...
