I just ordered an EOTech 556 Holographic Weapon Sight 65 MOA Circle with 1 MOA Dot Night Vision Compatible CR123 from Cheaperthandirt. What else do I need to enable the nv? I am putting it on my bushmaster AR or Masterpeices Arms Mac11. Thanks in advance.

I think your setup is similar to my NV compatible Aimpoint. That simply means that the first few settings are actually dim enough that they will only show up with night vision equipment in use. The brighter settings would be too bright and possibly damaging to the sensitive night vision equipment.
