I am trying to figure out what pellets people are using in the short range(10 meter) air guns for accuracy.

I shoot RWS R10 in my P70 Junior, 8.2 grains. Also in my IZH 46M. Other guns shoot well with the R10 7.0 grain, and H&N Match-Kugeln. Just like with rimfire rifles, my advice would be to perform serious testing with several, as well as various head diameters of 4.49 and 4.50 mm.

Brands that don't perform the best are still used in practice to build technique and muscle tone.

Note, I'm just a casual shooter and this type shooting in the winter yields great benefits in other disciplines in warm weather. YMMV

Use RWS Hobby pellets, no need to use expensive R10s unless you are consistently shooting 540 or above.
