I love the feel of a well tuned CZ. But, I’ve learned that with the decockers, you really need to be careful with mods on a carry gun. My P01 dropped to below 2# with a full CGW kit and polish. It was a fantastic shooter but was no longer an EDC gun.

I’d really like to pick up a PCR one of these days. They seem like the perfect EDC in CZ’s lineup.

Just switching out the hammer spring to #15, 16 or higher will increase DA and SA pull weight. A P01 with CGW pro kit should still have smooth DA trigger pull, and short reset and reduced reach which come with it. What is suited for EDC depends on the individual.

That’s the direction that I went. A stock hammer spring brought it back to about 2.5# but it was still lighter than I liked for edc

Totally agree with the above, but the trigger will get smoother the more you shoot it. If you can and want to spend the money, getting the gun cajunized by the Wizard is the best way to go, but the trigger will also shoot in to a point as well.

Dry fire all of my CZs 100's (*1000's*) of times with a foam earplug between hammer and firing pin.

Sit down and watch a sporting event or a movie or series, click that CZ iron until you need to replace the foam plug and tear into again.

Smooths out a hard double action and saves you mucho $$dinero$$ in ammo

How many rounds does it take for the trigger to wear in. I looked at a used one today that appears to be stock and the DA trigger was extremely smooth.

My SP-01 smoothed out really well within 500 rounds. The PCR took longer and was ok but I eventually had the wizard do the CGW pro kit. DA is very smooth but not too light, SA is very short and light.
