So it seems that I'm not as handy as reassembly as I thought.

I've gone and lost the magazine safety springs (position numbers 24 & 34) ... http://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore/Walther/upload/other/P22_USA_Manual.pdf

Granted, I don't NEED to replace these springs...I could take the mag safety completely out and I'd be a happy camper.

BUT, I may sell this pistol one day and I'd like to include ALL the parts needed.

So, besides Walther America / S&W....where might I find these? Numrich doesn't have any P22 parts...

    Thanks!

I had the same thing happen to me with the internal locking mechanism.

I took the entire action apart to do a complete fluff & buff, and for the life of me, i couldn't get the tiny little Shepard's hook spring that actuates back into place while holding the rest of the trigger components. I just gave up and removed the lock.

I had to call Walther the other day.... What I needed was on backorder and will ship out when they get it. As far as I have researched Walther is the only place to get internals for these.

    Well...

I actually FOUND the part. It was about 9ft behind me and off to the left. Found it with a flashlight, actually.

Still don't know if I want to attempt a re-install.

And Chalupa...that task is ahead of me, too.

Now I know why the manufacturer doesn't recommend splitting the internal chassis to detail strip it. LOL
