So my brother can't keep his cat. Seems his landlord always had a policy but it wasn't enforced until one of the renters got a particularly obnoxious dog, and now there is a general crackdown.

Here's the thing- my brother has been going through kind of a tough time lately, and he really loves this cat. He's a veteran of the Iraq war, and came back with some psychological issues. He has struggled with alcohol abuse, and is trying hard to finish up school and get his life on a better track. I'm kind of worried that if this cat doesn't find a home he's going to take it kind of hard. He really doesn't want to take it to the Humane Society or whatever, because he knows it will probably just be put down.

I'm really hoping someone here could use a new barn cat or something. It would really help me and my brother out.

I will deliver the cat within a reasonable distance from Lafayette.
