I've personally run both of those.

    A few thoughts. . . .

The Phantom comp is a GREAT comp for the money. It tested "as good" if not slightly "better" than the $90 PWS FSC556 in a side-by-side comparison. Because its a comp it is pretty blasty, with most of it being felt beside and behind the shooter (not so much directly to the side). At $25 its the perfect budget option.

Here is the comparison review: https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...yhm_phantom_vs_pws_fsc556_pics_and_video.html

The BattleComp is in a league all of its own, both in performance and price. It does a great job at reducing muzzle rise, and does it without being exceptionally blasty or having a huge flash signature. I can shoot fast and flat with it. That being said, I'm not sure if its small increase in performance is worth the big increase in price. If it was a $100 comp I'd recommend it to everyone. But $150 is a tougher pill to swallow.

Here is my review of the BattleComp 2.0: https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...ear/144217-review_a2_vs_battlecomp_2_0_a.html

    To summarize:

Get the Phantom if you're on a budget and want the best value for your money.

Get the BCE if you can swing the pricetag.

I have the YH Phantom on both my DPMS LRT-SASS .308 and on an AR15 I built in 7.62x39.

I like the way it performs on both calibers and platforms.

No experience with the Battle Comp, but for the price, I'd stick with the Yankee Hill

Is it the Phantom flash hider or Phantom compensator? I ask because many folks have the flash hider, but the comp is more rare.

    Flash hider
