Muzzle brake and barrel thread questions

I'm going to be dropping both of my bolt action guns off at Tactical Component in Bremen to get the barrels threaded and I'm curious what kind of muzzle brakes for a .308 people recommend. I plan on getting this YHM Stainless 7.62mm Phantom M2 QD Silencer - For SaleSilencer Shop suppressor when I have some spare cash since it can also be used on my .223 bolt gun. Since that suppressor comes with a 5/8x24 flash hider I assume the .308 will need to threaded the 5/8x24. What do people usually get the .223/5.56 barrels threaded to? I don't know if this matters, but my .223 is a Savage 11VT and my .308 is a Remington 700 SPS Tactical. Both guns have heavy barrels. Thanks

If ever in doubt, look up the thread pattern on the most popular rifle in that caliber (in this case, AR15 and AR10). That will tell you what the market supports.

5/8-24 for .308 and 1/2-28 for .223. I run a similar bdeal on my .308, the Silencerco specwar.
