Well today at work I moved a few thousand rounds of Federal LE only tactical 5.56 for Bloomington's finest, 2 or 3K of Wolf .223 going to Cosner's in Bedford, and I think I saw a couple of tins going to private residences...so I guess there is ammo out there.

.223 is fairly easy to find in stores now. even easier to find online.
