I watched it in the theater about two months ago. After reading all these posts, I realize that I've got to rent it again. I don't remember ANY of this stuff!!!:n00b:

I thought the movie was medicore. I enjoyed Liam's acting abilities. The girl seemed a bit old to be his 17-year-old-daughter. I've seen her in a few other flicks before.

The hand to hand combat was awesome. Reminded me of krav maga and mixed aggressive martial arts.

I'm tired of seeing people in movies rack the slide just before they are going into action. Believe me, I'd keep one on the stovepipe at all times if I were tracking down kidnappers who took my daughter.

UGH! no kidding. "let's go out into the dark after the killer/killer's and
wait until we see them to chamber a round." :n00b:

    Overall I'll give Taken a B.
Not great but a good popcorn movie. Liam's character did seem to be acting against himself occasionally.
I did like the "light up" scene however. :) It made me smile.... is that wrong? ;)

What was the light up scene? I don't remember that one.

He got the scumbag in the chair and has him wired up to the light switch.

Tell's him to give up the info or else, guy spills it and he juices him anyhow
and walks away with the guy still frying!!!!!!! Sorry, no break for the thug.
