Nice. My Dad was an Air Force veteran that is no longer with us.

Dad was a WWII Navy veteran from the South Pacific that loved Indycar racing. This year will be my 44th race. The last 27 has been to honor what he loved. I enjoy the freedom he and millions like him have provided for me by attending the race and paying respect during the pre-race dedications.

We do this every Memorial Day at our local cemetery. The sailor is our youngest. We visit the CW-era graves, recall the history, and fire a volley.
