My late grandmother strongly believed that there was medicinal properties of march snow water. SO she would put a bowl out and collect it. Once melted she'd put it in a ball jar in the fridge and save it to apply to burns.
It had nothing to do with the fact that its just cold water and thats what helps burns. Nope. Not at all. It was all in the fact it was march snow water.

And I think it had something to do with the fact that back then, it seldom snowed past the last week of February. Because of that rarity, it was considered something special.Grandma is watching you...
