I picked up several boxes of these from a friend. He said he bought them in 1992, and I am assuming the 91 on the head stamp is the date of manufacture. They have been sitting in his safe for almost 20 years. I shot one box of them through my G19 with no issues. I am assuming they are +P rounds due to them being Mil Spec rounds and did not shoot any in my other 9mm that is not rated for +P. I was hoping someone on here might be able to tell me more about this ammo. Any idea what the L and Y stand for?

Thats some good stuff. Burns a bit dirty but still shoots great. You got a great deal on it

It was a good friend of mine and he had sold his only 9mm several years ago and moved up to 10mm and 45 cal. It has just been sitting in his safe for all these years. I was also helping him do some repairs on his deck at the time, so I kind of earned the good price. LOL.
