I'm looking at the MR920 with the threaded barrel, for mag compatibility with the Banshees. Sounds like a lot to like about them, but man, are they SALTY!! (for what they are). Plus, I want to try a red dot, and their system keeps it the lowest on the slide, to my understanding.

Depends on the point of view, if you start with a plain Glock or MOS and you start adding mods the $ goes pretty fast. basic Glock $550.00, stippling $200.00, cut for red dot $175.00, suppressor high sights $100.00, trigger $150.00, barrel $220.00, $100.00 Magwell for a total of $1495.00. MR920 elite all set out the box $989.00 plus tax, not to mention that has far better ergos than Glock. I don't know but to me doesn't sound salty at all. their optic cut is very good, I like Glock but I would not pay $2000.00 for a Gucci Glock. to me SS is a heck of a deal for what you get in a striker fired handgun.
