WTS/WTT: Looking for a house to rent

The wife and I would like to move out of Indy. We would like to find a nice house to rent some where with in an hours drive of Indy. We would prefer a house in the country with 3 bed rooms and 2 baths. Will pay up to 1500.00 per month rent for the right house.

Our plan is to rent for 1 to 2 years then if we like the area build a house

Take a drive around Morgan County, Mooresville and Martinsville area..... heck, I oughta rent you my house !!! Seriously, you can get a little land, close to Indy, Greenwood and still feel like you are out of the city.

We drove from Indy today to Heritage lake to look at a house then monrovia and back up thru mooresville to Indy.

The house we looked at on Heritage was a crap hole.

I grew up on a farm in the country, Im ready to get back to that and raise my boys there.

Look at Greenfield country area.
When in Indy we looked at these sites for fixer uppers.

Now with both go in with a lower price then they have listed.
Also if indianareo tells you they have offers on the table for one lower your price even more. They tend to try and make more.
Some killer deals there. A friends grandpa has 12 of the reo homes that he rents to own.

come up towards madison county and take a look around. I'd offer our rental but its currently contracted for the next 2yrs, 3br 2ba on 5 acres and we go for $450 a month.......anywhere from 5-700 for a house like that around anderson(20min closer to indy) should be the norm. If I see something I'll pm ya

I know of a place that my i-laws rented while they built there house at 276 and State road 37. It is a 3bdr2/2bath on a full basement and 10 acres. PM if you want more details. It is for sale now but I know they would rent it out again. It was rented for $1000 a month.
