    Hey Guys,

I have a friend that is in need of a gunsmith to work on his Rem 11-87. He is having issues with the round after firing once feeding the next round in to the chamber. Anyone have suggestions? We are located on the north side of Indy. He travels so anyone that might specialize in shotguns or Remington would work. Thanks.

I know that the guy I take mine to does shotguns. I think he's pretty reasonable.
He's on the southeast side of Indy.

Might be a simple fix like replacing the 0-rings. Haven't done it to mine yet, but sometimes 11-87's are a bit cranky. I've got the kits, just haven't done it. I have the same problem sometimes with my 12g, but not with my 20g.

I rebuilt an 11-87 for a friend several years ago and got a manual for it on the net. The firearm is a lot like the Rem 1100 with a few small differences. The 11-87 was the forerunner to the 100 and both are all but indestructible and reliable.

Yea, mine stopped loading the next round, and I think it was the O rings. I took it to a guy in Greenfield (right by the courthouse I think).
