I am having a heck of a time finding a light for a carbine low light class that fits my requirements.

    I need:
    500 lumens
    Pressure switch
    Mountable
Takes two 123a or a 18650 rechargeable battery

This will be going on an SBR, preferable in the 1 o'clock position.

I use a Streamlight TLR1-hl. it is 600+ lumens and uses cr123 batteries. It uses the same pressure switch that the other TLR lights use.

Stream light tlr 1 hl with a pressure switch. You might consider mounting it At 12 o clock. It is a lot of light I actually use one to coyote hunt on my 300 blackout pistol.

    Fenix:
    TK22 - 920 lumens
TK15 - 400 lumens (don't discount this one on output, it's a hell of a thrower with good spill)
Both above compatible with AR102 pressure switch. Both can use a single 18650 or two CR123s. I prefer 18650s across all my lights and keep some spares charged at all times.

    I run a TK15 with the AR102 switch in a GGG-1195 1" ($15) ring.
Here's a link for a TK22 package with free shipping under $140 for everything, including batteries, charger, mount, switch, etc.

    Fenix TK22 LED Flashlight/Gun Mount Pkg. - Fenix-Store

I like the Fenix lights. When I sold my last AR the Fenix was the only item I refused to sell with the gun. Yesterday I ordered one of the PD-35 lights to stick on my newest AR. I like the slimline size/profile of the PD series and I really like the 900+ lumens that the 35 now has!

Why not a streamlight TLR1 HL. I sell the rifle kit which comes with pressure switch and normal toggling tail switch for 179.99. Pretty hard to beat.

I just installed this Fenix PD35 on my carbine to replace my weaker PD30. 960 lumens, 5 brightness settings, strobe, Fenix mount and very compact. Since carbine-length hand guards don't leave a lot of room underneath, I used the nifty Magpul rail that fits on the side of the MOE handguard leaving room underneath for a bipod, etc. and most importantly... your hand. Less than a $100 for all. There is also a pressure switch that can be installed on this light if desired.
